About me

Erhan Sevenler was born in İstanbul. Sevenler has joined Anadolu Agency in 1996 as a photojournalist .

Graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography. He is currently pursuing his master's degree at the Institute of Fine Arts at MÜGSF. Sevenler, who has many national and international awards, has photographed many different places and subjects such as the Marmara Earthquake in 1999, the US intervention in Iraq in 2003, the Arab Spring in Libya, the Mavi Marmara raid, the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya, and the civil war in Syria on behalf of Anadolu Agency since 1996. He worked as the Middle East-Africa Visual News Editor at Anadolu Agency between March 2012 and July 2016. Erhan Sevenler, who studied War Reporting in the UK, has worked in many conflict and crisis zones such as Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Palestine throughout his career. Sevenler, with his experience here, took part in the founding team of Anadolu Agency News Academy and War Reporting Academy and worked as an instructor in this academy. Since July 2016, he has been working as the deputy editor AA Photo News Directorate.
